I just got the Orvis Hydros 8wt rod back from the factory - this was the one that broke at the ferrule when a bonefish hit it. It looks better than new! Carbon fiber and brushed aluminum.... ooooooooo! I can't wait to cast it this coming week while we are beaching at Virginia Beach. I am hoping to hook into something - puppy drum, flounder, bluefish - anything really (I need an injection of some saltwater action about now - it'll be good for everyone - me, the kids, the fish at the lake behind our house - everyone).
