There were good signs of decent wind on the way home. When I got to the beach it looked light and the wind line was a bit further offshore.
Low waves. Mid tide.
These guys were chillaxing on the beach.
I didn't want to struggle today, so I brought the big one -
When the wind was gusting, getting up wasn't bad. You really just had to wait for the right conditions. But I am reconfirming that this board is not as easy to start as No.34
Lots of north in the wind - that explains the look of the surface. Once I adjusted for the direction, the session flowed. I didn't try any tacks today - I didn't want to have to relaunch more than I had too. Focused instead on getting the PW to turn better during the jibes. Line tension is everything.
I needed the gusts to get up, but after the winds were enough to fly the PW with one hand. I did hook in as much as I could to reduce the pressure on my golfer's elbows.
The charts correlate -
Prayot was out with his F One Frigate 4.7 and making runs.
There was a third parawinger out - blue Ozone Pocket Rocket. And I think they had a Foil Drive bolted on also.
The wind is supposed to start getting stronger again -
