I used two cans of clear coat to get No.41's nose redone, and to get No.42 all covered.
Here's No.41
I think the nose got hot in the bag and the epoxy deformed (the clear coat). I sanded the rough stuff off and sprayed on new clear coat.
And with No.42 being a new build, it got the bulk of the clear coat.
Bottom deck
Top deck. I actually sprayed this portion first before I went to WPB. When I got back the top deck was largely dry and I placed the deck pads before spraying the bottom deck.
I had to sand off some runs and respray.
And side view with the nose on the left.
Of note, the spray sometimes turned milky - but if you leave it alone it dries clear.
Now that this board is finished, the forecast shows declining wind through Tuesday. Of course it would...
