And I sewed it back up

Flies just like nothing happened!

Garage Works - 6/28/2026

Needed to fix Kalani's Triple Seven PT Hybrid 5.7 again.  The D line pigtail was getting frayed again.  I installed and new one and encased it in vinyl tubing.

NO WAY this is going to get frayed again!

I settled on a template for the new prone foil board

I reshaped the previously broken AFS 80cm UHM mast Stu had smashed.  I'm going to have to place more epoxy slurry and do another round of shaping to get this back to 100%.

And I opened the tracks on this conversion (from tiny prone to tow boogie)

I'll add a fill coat on this, sand some more and sand again.

I also sanded the track area on the big wing board.  I didn't take pictures - but I'm preparing to laminate more carbon to cure the shifty box.

Gonna need to setup my hot wire cutter....

Garage Works - 6/12/2026

I decided to take a day break from fixing the Cabrinha Apollo.  Instead I worked on two parawings.

The D line pigtail on Kalani's Triple Seven Hybrid 5.7 popped about a week ago.  I ordered some adjustable pigtails to use to replace the popped line.

The pigtails came in and I tried to use them - but they were too thick and too long.

This picture is for reference and it was from the Hybrid 4.3

Line orientation is important.  Twists can shorten lines -

I ran the extra line through to keep the bridle lines properly lined up.

There were a few more steps to get to this point, but here is the new line in place.  I repeated everything on the Hybrid 5.7

Tomorrow I'll undo the bar end and run a sheath line over the D line pigtail - just to drastically reduce the possibility of line wear.  The sheath is only really needed at the bar.  I'll post an update.

Garage Works - 2/22/2026

This post was from yesterday - but I didn't get around to posting it.

I got the patches on to the delamination spots on the board I'm dropping footstrap inserts into for Roland.

Prepping -

All pau.  Next is routing out the slots and gluing in the blocks.

I also finally got this rusted cargo hook out!!!!

I took the one above it and relocated to this spot.

I also ordered a vertical hook set for the rear - that'll make securing stuff in the bed easier.

And lastly I tested the repaired parawing - works perfectly!

And I even got in a grocery run!!!!  Productive day!!!
