I got the boxes grinded open this evening. After I cleaned up the openings, I went ahead got the fill coat on.
Tomorrow I'll sand this down, add a black stripe around the repair area, and if everything is good to go, I'll spray the clear coat.
Kalani asked for the ding in the rail to also be fixed. I should do that before doing the rest of what I described above.
Either way, this should be done by Friday evening (and returned on Saturday morning).
