This aquarium was small, and there was a lot of focus on sharks. But they had some interesting exhibits - especially the brook trout, the sturgeon and the gar.
This was included in the price of the Maid of the Mist ticket pack (which made us feel compelled to go - the price of admission is $10 a la cart).
With the package ticket purchase (for the Maid of the Mist boat tour) we got entry into the other attractions in the area. This one was the Niagara Gorge Learning Center (I think). I learned that the Eurypterid is New York's State fossil. They even had a cartoon Eurypterid that sported a backward facing ballcap.
This place was small but it did have some good information (but do yourself a favor and skip the movie).
Since we had made it up as far as Ashville, we decided to keep on going and check out Niagara Falls
The wind was way up - and pretty gusty. There were a few periods when the sun peeked through, but for the most part it was overcast and cool. We saw losts of water going over the cliff. We also got wet.
