I picked up this hitchhiker from the Battlefield of the Second Battle of Manassas. I thought I knocked all of them off (two others this size and a small red one). I missed one and it got me. I had to pull it off with some tweezers - I'm pretty sure I got the head - looked like there were three probisci protruding from a small head when I pulled. Parasites are nasty...
