And Friday afternoon brought the texts asking "what's the plan?"
I was going to keep cleaning up, but I was keeping an eye on the wind - which was strong enough to be annoying for the Foil Drive, but also strong enough to be annoying for winging (not quite there for good winging - lots of up and downs).
I got encouraged to do a second Foil Drive session - which is actually the first time I've done two foil drive sessions in one day.
The tide came in and was really full. It hadn't yet drowned out the waves, but it did by the time I was trying to come in.
I still caught plenty of waves. I had to do a little more weaving through the crowd since everyone was trying to pick up any kind of wave in the really high high tide.
On one paddle back out, I hit bottom (it was that one pinnacle out in front of the first cabin). It hit on the tip of the rear stabilizer (and as I write this, I had already finished wet sanding it away).
I'm leaving this in the cooler of fresh water since I'm going back out again tomorrow morning.
