Dawn patrol this morning saw the waves drop off even more than yesterday.
All of the WPB FD crew are settling on equipment. I think we are all on the HPS980/400P rear stabilizer. Probably something to do with the weight of the battery...
I got a few triples, several doubles and more carving turns than I can remember - when the waves do pick up (even a notch - back to what was rolling in on Friday morning), I do want to try out the HPS930 that Dennis loaned me. I'm thinking shortboard turns instead of the drawn out "longboard" turns I'm getting on the HPS980.
Don't get me wrong - this has been an incredible run of fun - I just want to optimize early takeoff, tighter carving ability and pumping back out.
I think tomorrow I'm going to mix it up and surf the Sweet Potato (and try out some new fins)
