I had originally planned to go winging with Nick at Hickam - but when I went there after work, the wind was coming from the north and pretty up and down.
We both decided to bail on what was looking like a trap.
I went home and started working on Roland's board repair - but then I couldn't stop thinking about how nicely shaped the waves would be at WPB.
I grabbed a Foil Drive battery and headed out to the beach.
I set up what has become my favorite gear - No.40 with the AFS UHM 80cm mast, the AFS Enduro 900/HA40 rear stabilizer - perfection!
Conditions were pretty darn great!
Norm, Robby, and Dennis all showed up! Marvin didn't have a battery charged, but he did come out and took some videos.
Carving turns - long running walls - steep sections to do top to bottom gouges...
Sixteen rides today in about 50 minutes.
And when looking at the distance plot - you can see the double dipped waves much easier.
I did see Roland in the inside lineup surfing - I had to rub it in since this is the last day he is Foil Drive-less (delivered tomorrow)!
