The SW swell was supposed to have filled in today. Bill suggested a morning session at Hickam.
Crew
No.34 and the Spitfire 960/Skinny 365 - mounted with the Foil Lite Titanium Foil Drive bolt system.
I didn't have long - so I was pretty heavy on the throttle. When I had made it out to the break I was at 87%.
I botched the first 3 waves I caught - typical muscle memory readjustment. After that I was good and carving some really fun waves (after the south swell winter lull).
There was some chop in the water, as well as a monk seal and several turtles. The seal was eating something and lots of it.
Looks like I got 8 rides in this shorter session.
It got windy from a rain squall so it was a good time to head back in.
