Parawing Session - 11/9/2025

The trades came back today - but they were still gusty and shifty.

I went to Hickam to get No.40 dialed in with the AFS Enduro 1300/HA43.

I also wanted to get some time with the Enduro 900, but the wind was just too shifty and up/down.  With that I opted for the Flysurfer POW 5.0

Matt, Ken and a couple of others were out.  And they were up and down also.

Despite all that, it was still good to be up on foil under wind power.

You can see from the tracks, there was a lot of north in the wind.

I didn't attempt any tacks.

No.40 was not hard to get up with - but I would wait for the gusts.

It was tough to figure out where the wind was coming from as it would swirl a bit.  And dealing with the gust when I was up, I would pinch higher to bleed speed.

It has been a minute since I was parawinging in decent wind - so I also used today's session to get my jibes dialed back in - preparing for the winds later this week!

The winds started to fall off so I called it while I was close to the launch.

Fun session!
