Wing Foiling Session - 5/5/2025

Windy - yet not windy conditions this afternoon.  With a flat tide at 0.5', this was an interesting session.

Especially when the 2' 17 sec swells would hit -

I opted for the Mode Pro 4.8 and the recent standard board/foil (No.40 and the Enduro 900/HA40)

This session was full of ups and downs.

Big waves when the sets were coming through - I got a huge tack on a well overhead wave - I live for these fleeting seconds...

Then tiny waves for the longest time.

The wind would be howling at points, then it would just barely be enough to keep going on foil (definitely a 'don't fall down' day)

Zach and I launched at the same time.  We were trading waves for quite some time.

Norm launched and then Roland rounded out the crew for today.

You can see the wind bending in the track chart.

I felt nicely powered for a majority of the session.  When I did go down, there were a few instances where I did have to wait for a good gust before getting back up.

Still more blue than black (so this was definitely a good day!)

Norm got stuck for a while - I was going to tow him in with the Foil Drive, but he managed to get back up on foil and beat feet back in.
