Wing Foiling Session - 5/6/2025

Yesterday's session was another fun one.  There was wind - and it was steadier than the previous days.  I decided to use the Mode Pro 4.8 again to get better using smaller wings.

The rest of the setup was similar to the previous sessions, but I moved the rear stabilizer to the forward position.

There were still some waves coming through (so the Surfline forecast was spot on).

I was the only winger out - I had to make dinner in town with an old friend so I got in early and left shortly after.  Roland was launching when I came in.

The stabilizer is going to stay in this position - what was already an amazing turning foil is even more of a ripper.

Impressive stats for a short session

I think I was tacking almost as much as I was jibing.

A few times I rode the wave a little too far in - and I had to do light footed transitions and pump like crazy to dig myself out of the hole.

Shifty wind direction...

Our internet was down for a bit so I was not able to pick up the normal wind report.

Winds were dependable - except for the one drop off.

Fun times!!!
