Wing Foiling Session - 12/12/2023

I made it home in time to grab my gear and head to the beach.  There were signs all along the way home that the wind was on.  This picture was taken at the end of the session - when the wind had swung offshore and pretty much died out.

Really nice sunset!

The tide and the waves were low and small.  I had to paddle a ways out to launch.

Same gear as the past few times - this stuff is super dependable in lighter winds and it still rides waves great.

This foil and board combo has saved countless sessions!

Pretty impressive stats.  When the wind was up, the conditions were really fun.

I didn't try any tacks - was more interested in milking whatever energy was rolling through (and not coming off foil).  Fun rides!

Norm and Roland were out also.

Really light... but the gusts were more sustained out at WPB (this chart is from Hickam).

Save the 2 hiccups, this was close to being a totally on foil session.

Even though the wind did die out, this was not a bad start to this next wind event!
