I had to go to work for a bit today - so I figured I might as well get in some wing time.
There was some wind - but it came with some significant lulls, and it swung hard from the North.
There were tons of people at the beach - it was the 4th of July so it was to be expected. One out in the water, there were only a handful of people out.
Same gear as the past few sessions.
The high tide drowned out the surf, and with a North wind, I felt safer sticking to the inside.
You can see how much North the wind had in it.
Definitely some strong wind present - it just was pretty up and down.
I'm pretty sure that 90mph reading is erroneous - maybe recorded on a wipeout. I had to go through the data, but I did find a 20.9mph reading in all the speed points.
I got in a ton of toe-to-heel tacks - practicing transitions is actually pretty fun.
