I pulled an evening foiling session yesterday - swell was belly high. There was some wind (Eli was out - 6.2m wing and NL220), but not enough to make me think I should have brought winging gear. The tide was at +2.0' so I wasn't really worried about grounding.
I bolted the NL160 onto the 4'8". I got several really fun waves. I pumped out the back of nearly every wave - but I wasn't making it out to catch a second - I'd lose steam and drop off foil. Weird. Maybe I should have used the PNL185 instead...
