Marlon has been asking to learn how to fix dings - what better way than on your own board. We spent part of Thursday evening knocking this out.
And I got to work on another ding repair - this is Roland's low volume wing board. He dropped it in the parking lot and cracked the laminate on the rear corner. Not much laminate there - but it also seems to be a different layer of foam also - like a thin layer of polyurethane??? The core is lightweight EPS (I know because I cut a hole in the tail to install a vent plug).
Next up is sanding, filling any voids, more sanding, then painting.
