Before going to the beach, I got the outline cut out using the jigsaw.
So the weird thing is I cut into the core on this wing. I used the same outline that Kalani laid out (HS1850 wing tips) - on his wing I barely touched core, but on Tim's wing, there is a good chunk of the core exposed.
After I blend in the foil with the grinder, I use carbon fiber and cover the exposed areas. Should still be pretty easy - but it does make you wonder what process they use to make these wings, where there is that much variation in core size.
