Marlon and I hit the dawn patrol. The swell had lowered a notch - swung around more to 315 degrees (from yesterday's 295), so less wrap. The tide was high at 1.7' and there was very little wind.
With the smaller waves, I bolted on the HS1850. Good thing too - the crowd was pretty thick (with noobs).
I saw Marlon take off on a good sized wave (chest high), only to have 4 other people decide that it was a party wave.
I got several long ones - to the beach long. Good dawn patrol!
