Marvin and I hit Campgrounds after work. The thermals fully developed and it was pretty wingable. We still went out anyways.
Same gear as normal.
Despite the difficult conditions, I had a great time!!! The rides were more akin to downwind riding. You could actually pick up a wave faster angling straight downwind, then I would carve back and forth as the peaks rose and fell. It was a swollen high tide so you could ride the waves pretty far inside.
I know I missed picking up a few waves - so I'll call today's count 17 rides (in 60 minutes - pretty ridiculous!!!!)
It was a nice change of pace riding a different wave!
