The forecast was calling for a more consistent day than yesterday - and even a halfway decent tide (to avoid grounding). For simplicity, I went over to WPB.
Kalani, Duke and eventually Roland were all out.
There were waves, but they were small.
The wind was pushing whitecaps when I first got there - but it was after 3 so I figured it would fall off after a bit. I opted for the SW2 5.2, and went with the Eagle 890/DW190.
When the wind was up, it was good fun - even if the waves were small. But there were holes in the wind for sure.
And the wind definitely had some North in it again. Kinda made lining up with the waves harder than normal.
This was the Kalaeloa Airfield meter - it's probably off by 5 mph when the wind is from this direction.
Holes...
Roland brought out his new wing - Ensis Spin with a boom. Looks nice! And he was powered up when the wind was light.
The forecast calls for better conditions tomorrow - when have I heard that one???
